    Red Tomlinson is the proud owner and top instructor at "Schools of Horseshoeing".

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Masters in Biology from  

Eastern Michigan University. Mr. Red Tomlinson graduated from Cal- Poly  in San Luis Obispo,California in horseshoeing in 1960. He started the first horseshoeing school in Florida 1967, then Michigan in 1970. Red Tomlinson now has 17 schools throughout the United States in which he proudly teaches along with his certified instructors. Red Tomlinson travels over 100,000 miles per year, mostly by plane teaching at his various 17 schools and tries to teach two weeks out of  the four at each school when able. Most of the schools are open throughout the year.

*Red Tomlinson (from 1970 to 1980) has shod more US National Champions

(10 separate breeds) and race horse world record holders (Harness Horses) than

any other horseshoer in North America.

 *RedTomlinson invented the first Gas Force and sold over 4000 of those in 1967.

 *Red Tomlinson invented the only Founder Mold made out of plastic - saves foundered horses,

he has put this mold on in over 34 States and Canada and Mexico.

 *Red Tomlinson owned one largest horseshoeing business' in the US in the 1970s.

*Red Tomlinson founded the forst horseshoers association, The Michigan Horseshoers Association in 1968.

*We have graduated horseshoers for 25 mounted police units around the US, Canada & Mexico.
